Fostering Collaboration: Workforce Providers and Executives' Club of Chicago

We're trying something new.

The Executives' Club of Chicago produces many programs relevant to workforce development and career education. Programs often feature experts on talent management, diversity / equity / inclusion, alternative talent sources, and more. Every event includes meaningful networking opportunities as well as substantive content.

Origami Works Foundation is sponsoring annual memberships for leaders at 11 nonprofit workforce development organizations so they can meet, learn, and collaborate with other Chicagoland business leaders. For example, leaders at Career Transitions Center, Chicagoland Workforce Funder Alliance, Upwardly Global, and Skills for Chicagoland's Future are joining the Executives' Club, and plan to participate in its programming on a routine basis.

We expect this initiative will result in

  • More connections among Chicagoland employers and workforce development organizations

  • Greater knowledge of and engagement in truly inclusive employment practices among Chicagoland businesses

  • More opportunities to share knowledge among workforce development leaders

  • Ultimately, more jobs and more rewarding employment for challenged jobseekers and workers

Congratulations to all the sponsored individuals and organizations! We look forward to learning and networking with you!
